The first three sessions will be focused on the basics of throwing on the wheel, beginning with how to centre and pull a cylinder and moving on to how to stretch the clay into bowls and other complex forms. Each week you will work on furththering your skills and learning new techniques. On the ninth session you will turn your work and on the tenth you will be able to glaze your work in a selection of our house glazes.
Each attendee has their own dedicated potters wheel and there is a maximum of 10 people who attend each class. Expect to keep anywhere between 10-12 pieces, depending on what happens when you are throwing! If you would like to keep more than 12 pieces, we charge an extra £10 a pot.
