GEORGINA FULLER
Georgie is a London based Australian ceramic and glass artist. Her practice is defined by a lifelong dedication to craft, beginning in her youth under the influence of her mother’s artistic practice. In 2016, she was awarded the Young and Emerging Artists’ Prize of her dustrict, and upon graduating (2017), her work was selected for Art Express and nominated for Shape—two of Australia’s most prestigious exhibitions for emerging talent in art and design.
Georgina moved to London in 2018 to attend the University of the Arts London (UAL), where she earned a BA (Hons) in Ceramic Design. She subsequently completed her MA in Ceramics and Glass at the Royal College of Art (2023). Her current research focuses on the transformative possibilities of glass, specifically through casting and pâte de verretechniques.
Since moving to London, Georgina has been involved in extensive Exhibitions across the city, including Preface (2022), Light The Onion Garden (2022), and Overflow (2023). In 2023, she showcased work in the Cabinet of Wonders at the Stratford Hotel and was awarded Runner-Up for the Contemporary Glass Society's Graduate Prize, featuring in both the New Graduate Review and Neues Glas magazine. In 2024 she participated in Collect with Bullseye Glass, presenting her work to an international audience of collectors and curators.
Georgie is a member at Crown Works and teaches our Handbuilding Taster Workshops.
