ONE DAY THROWING WORKSHOP - Suggested Hours 11:00-17:00 - Full Space Hire
A one day introductory class or intermediate class. For those who are absolute beginners - you will learn the very basics of throwing on the potters wheel. Beginning the session with throwing cylinders and following up with bowls during the afternoon. If however you have already taken classes, we will work with you after the initial class demonstration, on the specific techniques you need to improve for the forms you are tackling.
Each attendee has their own dedicated potters wheel.
Expect to keep anywhere between 1-3 pieces, depending on what happens when you are throwing! If you would like to keep more than 3 pieces, we charge an extra £10 a pot, which will fire and glaze for you!
A Maximum of 8 Students Attending- £1360
If 8 attend this is £170 per head which is our normal One Day Class Cost Per Head.

All classes will take place in the pottery at: 11-12 Crown Works, Temple Street, London, E26QQ
Price includes all materials used in the session.
You will be able to keep your best pot which we will glaze in our house white glaze. If you wish to keep more of your pots, by all means you can, but we try to make potters as critical of their work as possible and cull anything you won’t be happy with once it is through its firing process. Any extra pots that are kept, we ask for £10 a pot which can be paid for on our website. This covers the extra firing space, as well as us glazing these works for you, which we will do in a a tin white glaze.
Pots will be ready usually within three weeks, but sometimes longer depending on firing schedules. You will be notified by email when your pots are ready. We ask that you pick up, or arrange for your pots to be delivered to you (for an additional fee) within one month of the original pick up email being sent out. If your pieces have not been picked up or sent within this time-frame then we regret that we will have had to give to our local community, as we are so limited on shelf space.
A welcome email with further instructions about what to expect before your class is sent around a week before your class commences. This email will be sent to the email provided at booking.

RESCHEDULING, CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
* If given 8 or more days notice we can either reschedule, refund or generate a gift code for rebooking your class.
* If given 7 days or less notice due to illness of any kind, or for any other reason, including being pinged by covid app, we cannot reschedule or refund. There are no exceptions to this, so please do not ask or pressurise our staff.
* In the scenario of 7 days or less notice of you not being able to attend, your seat always remains yours to give to a friend or family member to attend.
* We can only take one individual for the duration of a course, not an array of people on different sessions, ie only one person can attend all or some of the sessions.
* We regret we will not be able to replace or rearrange missed sessions. Please do not ask us to make exceptions and please understand we cannot accommodate everyones diary changes and sudden change of circumstances.
* Gift Cards are non-refundable
