THROWING JARS | INTERMIDIATE

Saturday 18th and 19th of May - 11:00 - 17:00 - Taught by Ervin Cirikovic

This will be a fantastic weekend focusing on all things related to the the complexities of jar making and design. Ervin will take you through different ways to approach slip decoration, a multitude of shapes and ways to approach the role and look of the foot of each piece. We will also be providing teas for you to drink whilst you make!

General Class Information…

This weekend classes will run from 11:00 - 17:00 both days and there will be a maximum of 10 people attending this class. Each person has their own dedicated potters wheel.

All classes will take place in the pottery at: 11 Crown Works, Temple Street, London, E26QQ

Please bring your own apron and please don't wear your best clothes as you are likely to get muddy!

Please make sure you can attend all dates, as it is not possible to refund or change your booking date unless given 7 days or more notice.

Price includes all materials, glazes and firings. You are able to keep up to 7 pots per person and if you have made more that you love, you can pay for additional pots at £10 per piece.

We regret that if you have not picked up your pots within one month of the original pick up email being sent out, then we will have had to dispose of the pots as we are so limited on shelf space.

You are able to keep a maximum of 8 pots from the session . Pots will be ready usually within three weeks, but sometimes longer depending on firing schedules. You will be notified by email when your pots are ready. We ask that you pick up or arrange for your pots to be delivered to you (for an additional fee) within one month of the original pick up email being sent out. If your pieces have not been picked up or sent within this time-frame then we regret that we will have had to give to our local community, as we are so limited on shelf space.

A welcome email with further instructions about what to expect before your class is sent around a week before your class commences. This email will be sent to the email provided at booking.

RESCHEDULING, CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

* If given 8 or more days notice we can either reschedule, refund or generate a gift code for rebooking your class.

* If given 7 days or less notice due to illness of any kind, or for any other reason, including being pinged by covid app, we cannot reschedule or refund. There are no exceptions to this, so please do not ask or pressurise our staff.

* In the scenario of 7 days or less notice of you not being able to attend, your seat always remains yours to give to a friend or family member to attend.

* We can only take one individual for the duration of a course, not an array of people on different sessions, ie only one person can attend all or some of the sessions.

* We regret we will not be able to replace or rearrange missed sessions. Please do not ask us to make exceptions and please understand we cannot accommodate everyones diary changes and sudden change of circumstances.

* Gift Cards are non-refundable
